Hello and welcome PUMA parents and students!

Whether you are taking a theatre class, attend drama club meetings, or participate in after-school productions, it is my mission to give each and every student some calm in the storm that is our world right now. The arts have the power to uplift and unite us no matter our backgrounds. As we navigate this school year I hope you will be open-minded and open-hearted in creating theatre with me.

I attended the University of Texas at Austin and graduated with a Bachelor of Fine Arts in Theatre Education. Since moving to Austin I have gained theatrical experience working for the Zach Theatre and The Paramount theatre as a teaching artist and administrator. Some of my main passions are directing, devising, and designing with young people. The classroom and stage is where you'll find me!

¡Hola y bienvenidos a los padres y estudiantes de PUMA!
Si va a asistir a una clase de teatro, asistir a reuniones de un club de teatro o participar en producciones extraescolares, mi misión es ofrecer a todos y cada uno de los estudiantes una calma en la tormenta que es nuestro mundo en estos momentos. Las artes tienen el poder de elevarnos y unirnos sin importar nuestros antecedentes. Mientras navegamos este año escolar espero que ustedes sean abiertos y abiertos en la creación de teatro conmigo.

Asistí a la Universidad de Texas en Austin y me gradué con una Licenciatura en Bellas Artes en Educación Teatral. Desde que me mudo a Austin he ganado experiencia teatral trabajando para el Teatro Zach y el Teatro Paramount como artista y administrador docente. Algunas de mis principales pasiones son dirigir, idear y diseñar con los jóvenes. ¡El aula y el escenario es donde me encontrarás!

I am the PROUD new dance director here at Paredes Middle School! I am here to create and share experiences with ALL dancers! The art form of dance is a wonderful way to express yourself but also a tool to develop your best possible self. Imagine your best self and be that person. I ask all my dancers to problem solve, celebrate others and ALWAYS communicate with me. I support you today, tomorrow and always!

¡Soy EL NUEVO y ORGULLOSO director de danza aquí en la Escuela Intermedia Paredes! ¡Estoy aquí para crear y compartir experiencias con todos los bailarines! La forma de arte de la danza es una manera maravillosa de expresarse, pero también una herramienta para desarrollar su mejor ser posible. Imagínese su mejor yo y sea esa persona.
